מַרְחֶשְׁוָון, מַרְחֶשְׁוָן(Assyr. Araaḥ samna, Schr. KAT2>, 380) Marḥeshvan, the eighth month of the Jewish calendar, containing twenty nine or thirty days, varying between the fifth of October and the second of December. Targ. Y. Deut. 11:14. Targ. II Esth. 3:7.R. Hash. 11b.
